The brief
AL MAJED OUD’s 2024 reporting year included its listing on the Saudi Exchange. The annual report needed to explain the business, present the year’s performance, and address the information needs of shareholders and other stakeholders.
RAM’s brief covered content development in Arabic and English, as well as the publication’s design. The task was to give the report a clear narrative and a distinctive brand presence while accommodating detailed operational, financial, and governance information.

The AL MAJED OUD annual report design approach
We made the products central to the report’s storytelling. Perfume bottles, oud, packaging, and product details appear alongside the company’s history, achievements, and business information, keeping the reader connected to what the company creates and sells.
The existing brand guidelines provided the foundation. Dark backgrounds, warm neutral tones, and brand patterns connect the section openings, product features, and editorial pages. Lighter layouts give longer passages and detailed tables room to read.
This creates a consistent visual language with enough variation to distinguish the report’s sections and maintain a clear reading pace.

A clear narrative in Arabic and English
RAM developed the full report content in Arabic and English, bringing leadership messages, the company’s story, product portfolio, operational progress, and financial performance into a connected narrative.
We structured the content around investor relations needs and the reporting requirements of a listed company. The executive summary introduces the year’s main developments, while the following sections provide the business context, supporting information and governance detail.
The products remain part of that narrative throughout. Their role extends beyond the dedicated product section into the presentation of milestones, capabilities and performance.

Brand identity within the reporting detail
We extended the visual system into the financial and operational information. Selected charts use shapes drawn from the brand mark, while performance summaries place key figures alongside product imagery.
Detailed financial and governance sections use consistent headings, tables, and page structures. This gives the report continuity as readers move from the main business story to comparisons, disclosures, and supporting detail.
